Lara Logan
Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politcally biased story in 2012 Benghazi as "the most costly mistake I've made in the past 10 years." In 2019, she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media company. [4] In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service that is operated by Fox News). She claimed to have been "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan was a reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban, during her studies (1988-1989) before working for the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years, she started freelance journalism. Reporter, editor and producer assignments for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all given to her. She worked for CNN, reporting on incidents like the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania, the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war
